Hidden Endings
The True Ending requires all collectibles and correct choices
Dead As Disco has three endings. Only the True Ending requires all collectibles and correct story choices:
- Collect all 50+ memorabilia items across the city
- Restore The Encore completely (all upgrades)
- Make the right story choices in each Idol encounter
- Find the secret track hidden in the Harmony Corp building
My Music — Secret Songs
Import your own tracks to unlock secrets
The My Music feature lets you import your own tracks. Some hidden songs are unlocked by importing specific music:
- Any track named "Encore" unlocks the secret bar upgrade
- Tracks over 6 minutes unlock Extended Mix mode in Infinite Disco
- Silent tracks or tracks under 1 minute trigger an infinite boss loop in Free Play
The Encore Restoration
Restore your home base to unlock rewards
The Encore is your home base — a music club and bar. You restore it by collecting memorabilia. Full restoration rewards: new Charlie outfits and dance moves, backstory cutscenes, unique weapon skins, and the True Ending path.
Easter Eggs
Hidden surprises await discovery
- The disco ball in The Encore reflects the current track's album art
- Typing "CHRLIE1982" in My Music search unlocks developer commentary mode
- Completing Infinite Disco on hardest difficulty without damage unlocks Ghost Charlie skin
- Each Idol boss has a fail song — if you die, the music shifts to a mournful version
